Doug C. graciously lent me his Canon 400mm f/4L DO lens for a few shots, including this one. Not well framed, but gives a hint of the kind of sharpness this lens can produce. Very nice!

We started the morning near Pigeon Point Lighthouse and worked our way north. We spent a charming afternoon with some Santa Clara Valley Audubon folks aboard a Marine Science Institute cruise around the Bay.
