Species Notes
We see Black Skimmer at least
2 times a year.
Between 1996 and
2011, we've seen Black Skimmer
at 12 different locations.
Skimmers were an early favorite of ours ever since we found the small population at Charleston Slough. The way they flop right down on the ground is very endearing.
